The history of our park began in 1997 when we opened as pioneers of hanging bridges in the Costa Rican cloud forest. This visionary endeavor was born out of the aspirations of a local Monteverde family. Now, more than a quarter century later, we have taken this legacy and transformed it into an even more extraordinary park.

Take the TreeTram cable car up the mountain and then experience a thrilling ride through the cloud forest on 1.9 miles of adrenaline-filled zip lines. Our top priority is to ensure your safety and enjoyment with the highest standards during your Costa Rica zip line tour.
– Embrace the adventurer in you as you launch yourself from our 80 feet high vertigo drop.
– Find 7 ziplines ranging from 460 to 2460 feet long, soaring to heights of up to 328 feet.
– Tours are available hourly from 7 am to 3 pm.

INFRASTRUCTURE
SkyTrek zip lines are not tied to trees. We have invested in sturdy steel platforms and custom-made zip line cables. In addition, we are proud to offer the only cable car experience in Monteverde.
EFFORTLESS BRAKING
No need to press your hand against the zipline to stop at the end (as unsafe as it may seem, this is very common in other parks). Our exclusive pulley and brake system takes care of that for you.
FAMILIAR
Our zip line experience is suitable for children ages 5 and up, as well as seniors. No hiking is required throughout the entire tour.

What you should bring?
Long pants, comfortable shoes, rain gear (if the weather requires it), binoculars and cameras.
Important
- Minimum age of 5 years old to participate in the SkyTrek zip line activity.
- Maximum weight limit of 300 pounds and maximum waist measurement of 46 inches.
- Medical conditions related to the heart, neck, back, bones or muscles, we prioritize the well-being of visitors.
- The closed footwear mandate is a requirement that aligns with safety standards.
